Babouche Sandals – Upcycled Berber Rug

Each pair of these Babouche sandals carries a story woven in the Atlas Mountains.

Handcrafted from vintage Berber rugs, the textiles are carefully upcycled, giving new life to handwoven fragments rich in texture, color, and history. Because every rug is unique, no two pairs are ever exactly the same. From each rug, only a small number of sandals can be made, creating naturally limited editions.

Produced in collaboration with Moroccan artisans in the souks of Marrakesh, these babouches celebrate traditional craftsmanship and preserve techniques passed down through generations.

This style features an open, rounded toe and a supple leather sole, creating an easy silhouette that feels both relaxed and distinctive.

The leather sole allows for occasional outdoor wear, though we recommend avoiding water to best preserve the materials.

Due to the handmade process and the use of vintage textiles, each pair will have slight variations in color, pattern, and texture, making your babouches truly one of a kind.
