These handmade Babouche slippers are crafted from vintage Berber rugs that have been carefully upcycled, giving new life to traditional Moroccan textiles. Because each rug yields only a limited number of pairs, every Babouche is unique and produced in a small edition.
They are made by local artisans in the souk of Marrakesh, continuing generations of Moroccan craftsmanship and traditional shoemaking.
This Babouche style features an open, rounded toe and a supple leather sole that offers comfort and flexibility. They can be worn outdoors, but we recommend keeping them away from water to preserve the materials.
As each pair is handmade, slight irregularities may appear. These natural variations are part of the charm and authenticity of artisan-made footwear.
