Sustainable Babouche Slippers – Handmade from Vintage Berber Rugs
These sustainable Babouche slippers are handmade from upcycled vintage Berber rugs, giving each pair a unique story and character. Because every rug is different, the slippers are produced in very limited editions—only a few pairs from each textile. No two pairs are ever the same.
Each pair is crafted in collaboration with local Moroccan artisans in Marrakesh, preserving traditional craftsmanship and supporting generations of skilled makers.
This Babouche style features an open, rounded toe and a soft leather sole, offering comfort and flexibility. The slippers can be worn outdoors, although we recommend avoiding exposure to water to preserve the materials.
Babouches are handmade in the souk of Marrakesh, Morocco. Small variations and imperfections are natural and part of the authentic beauty of handmade footwear.
